some spectacularly curly maple dovetailed into some cocobolo,are we perchance looking at the embryonic stage of a Holtey wooden bodied plane?
if so i may very well wet myself…

Not Huanghuali,just some particularly nice pippy Yew I picked up at Treefest here in Edinburgh last year.
I can’t wait to see the sets of planes rendered in the Zitan & Huanghuali,they’re going to make someone very happy (covet,covet…)
