		<description>Hi Stephen

It is good to know that the efforts that go into the machining are appreciated. Far too often these skills are belittled by the purists in favour of hand work. One of the reasons for using this blog is to show that my time consuming machining is absolutely necessary for this kind of plane (please be assured this is no shortcut). I will be showing hand work which is also necessary for the detail and finishing.

Thank you for your comments

		<description>Hello Karl

Love your work, philiosophy and take on what you have learned, you work in an area of machinery and design that is out of reach of my sphere of thinking or cost but you work from the same creative and imaginative drive. I cannot wait for the forthcoming details of your work, I hope the future generation of individuals who wish to take up this area of work are watching and take up interest!

Kind regards

		<description>Hello Karl,
I have followed your planes now for quite a few years. I have had the oportunity to hold a few of your planes over the years. Amazing! My sons and I make traditional wood body planes here in Canada. My oldest son Kyle is in college taking Tool and Die, it has added new dimensions to our machining process. To see your examples has opened his eyes as to how high the bar is. This new site and blog will add to the knowledge of others and enable the craft to go on for many years to come. Thankyou.

Take care,
